About Us
Welcome to Personal Pilates
Personal Pilates is a studio honouring the original work of Joseph Pilates – Contrology.
Our teacher, Laura, also offers regular Pilates mat group classes in Secret Harbour where she utilises her knowledge and experience of other forms of movement training.

ABOUT Our STUDIO
Studio Sessions
Our studio is located in the beautiful community of Meadow Springs, Western Australia.
Everybody of all ages and abilities are welcome to come to the studio and explore Pilates as a System.
What to Expect
As a new client you will explore the full system of Contrology the way it was intended by the founder, Joseph Pilates. The studio is fully equipped with classical apparatus from Contrology to Balance Body and Pilates Design.
Once you have completed your first private session where we talk about goals, exercise/order selection and introduce you to the apparatus, you will then begin to practice your individual program in an open studio format.
Here we encourage you to start to learn your own exercises (called your “order”) under the guidance of Laura. You will deepen your understanding on how to work independently through the System and, over time, you will grow to have a practice that is strong, confident and with a deeper understanding of Contrology.
Contrology is a system that requires discipline and consistent practice in order to feel the benefits over a number of years. For this reason, Laura recommends that you try and aim to train a minimum of twice a week.
How to Start
- Fill in the New Client Enquiry Form below. Here you will be asked what days and times you are available to practice, this way we can make sure that we can suit your needs.
- Why not come into the studio and see what we are all about? You can do this by booking a free 15 min visit. Laura will greet you and show you around the studio and answer any questions that you may have.
- Purchase your Starter Pack and book your first session. The $120 Starter Pack includes 1 x 55 minute private session (where we will discuss your needs, begin to design your individual program and get you ready to work in an open studio format) and 2 x 55 minute open studio sessions. These sessions have a maximum of 3 – 4 people working together on their own individual programs, in a fun and supportive space, under the guidance of Laura.

Group Mat Classes
Pilates OG
Pilates OG (Original) is suitable for those that are ready to take their practice to the next step.
In this class you will work through the original Pilates mat exercises in order the way it was intended to be taught by Joseph Pilates.
Be prepared to feel centred, be challenged with your concentration, and feel the control you need to execute each exercise.
Pilates Progressive Flow
Pilates Progressive Flow classes are designed to increase body control, core strength and co-ordination. The use of small equipment can be added to give you that extra challenge.
